Cliché but true: Planning is half the battle. In various workshops, we develop your migration plan so that the next step is always clear. But we are not just planners, but makers and implement the jointly developed plan for you.
We define a clear goal, which all further steps must contribute to achieving. Very important: Never lose sight of why a new solution should be introduced — e.g. simplification, security or user experience?
We design and document the technical objectives. On the one hand, the configuration of the new solution or the new operating system is created yourself, and on the other hand, the necessary integrations and connections to your other environment are recorded.
Now it's time for detailed planning. How exactly and in which sub-steps do we achieve the defined target image? Who is the migration team? We work on this in workshops until the migration plan is ready.
What are the technical requirements for migration? All required system accesses, test accounts and test devices must be available and licensing for the new and old solution must be planned.
Implementing the design is a formality. However, testing follows iteratively. Here, the design is challenged once again and necessary trouble shooting and adjustments are implemented. Better now than in the middle of migration.
