Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management

The native patch management tool for Intune.
As part of the Intune Suite, but also individually.

What is Intune Enterprise App Management?

Microsoft's answer to Patch My PC

Are you simply not keeping up with the packaging of standard applications and have little overview of which of your standard applications should be patched urgently?

Microsoft has launched the new Intune Add-On “Enterprise App Management” for this purpose: Enterprise App Management makes it possible to provide the latest versions of Microsoft and 3rd party applications in Intune at the push of a button and shows which applications need an update. For the release, Microsoft is launching basic functions that we know from comparable tools, such as Patch My PC. We can be very excited about the further development of the add-on, as it integrates natively into the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.

The highlights are:

  • Native integration into Microsoft Intune of many 3rd party standard applications

  • Overview of applications to be updated directly in Intune

  • No additional servers or infrastructure required

  • But beware: Learn herewhy the automatic packaging of 3rd party standard applications is only part of holistic patch management.

Who is Microsoft Intune Enterprise App Management for?

With native integration and as part of the Intune Suite, Enterprise App Management can be an interesting alternative. However, as a product outside the Intune Suite, the tool is still too expensive for the existing features and number of applications.

We'll work with you to see if Intune Enterprise App Management is right for you.

    benefits

What are the key strengths of Intune Enterprise App Management?

We have four tools for automated patching of 3rd party applications in our portfolio so that we can work with the right tool for every customer. Each tool has its own strengths.

    Potential through native integration

Automatic patch management directly integrated with Intune, without additional URL and manufacturer. So far, Microsoft hasn't made much out of native integration, but it leaves plenty of room for potential, which we're excited to pursue.

    Licensing via Microsoft

Licensing is simply carried out using the usual methods at Microsoft. This means that there is no need to initiate a complex purchasing and licensing process for another manufacturer. When licensing the entire Intune suite, Enterprise App Management is included.

    Zero Infrastructure

Intune Enterprise App Management integrates directly with Intune, so no additional infrastructure or servers need to be built and the automation of patching can grow with your organization.

    Fixed vulnerabilities

Vulnerabilities are closed by quickly deploying applications. Through an overview of the applications used and to be updated, the use of the latest version can be verified at any time.

    Time saved

Thanks to native integration, Enterprise App Management is even a bit better than the competition here. With one click, an application from the patch catalog can be transferred to Intune. Not only are you happy about it, but also users and your security operations team.
