Succession in summer 2022
In summer 2022, just in time for their 15th anniversary, Thore Lenz and Dorian Garbe succeeded founder Hans Birnstiel. As a forward-looking entrepreneur, he has proactively arranged his succession to ensure an optimal transition for customers, employees and business partners. From today's perspective in summer 2024 — at the time of our relaunch — we can say that we succeeded!
SOFTTAILOR grows and thrives and helps our customers with the challenge every day, permanently secure and productive endpoints to ensure. We would like to sincerely thank our customers, employees and business partners for the trust and loyalty they have placed in us.
After Hans served as managing director until summer 2023, he is now concentrating almost entirely on his life balance, but remains connected to the company.
The way forward
Dorian Garbe has many years of experience in the development of small and medium-sized companies, particularly in terms of strategy and innovation. Thore Lenz has worked at SOFTTAILOR for many years and has built up excellent technical and commercial expertise on his way from IT consultant to managing director.
Hans Birnstiel has established SOFTTAILOR as one of the most efficient and specialized service providers for endpoint management & security in Germany. Together with our strong team, we are building on this and are constantly developing the #1 Managed Service Provider for Endpoint Management & Security. We design the company we would like as customers: Real expertise through specialization. Tangible and proactive. Not just concept developers, but implementers and problem takers. The first two years show that we've struck a nerve with this.

Dorian has been involved in corporate and IT strategy since 2011. Due to the endpoint security deficiencies of many companies and the information overload, he developed the endpoint strategy. Dorian is co-founder of the “Endpoint Management” expert group at IAMCP e.V.
